We wanted to give you a heads-up about some ongoing issues we've been facing with our Fulfilment Business Partner. For about a year and a half now, we've been experiencing some frustrating challenges, especially with the European setup within their operations.
While the US setup has been fantastic to work with, the European counterpart seems to operate quite differently. We've repeatedly encountered hurdles, particularly when it comes to certain themes like pro-life apparel.
Here's the kicker: not only have they flat-out refused to use a piece of sacred scripture and an image we intended to use to create a design, but we've seen again how they are willingly creating a variety of "pro-choice" products for other parties.
What's even more puzzling is that they've cited a breach of their community standards for our designs as justification for their decision suggesting "illegal content, hate speech and hateful content, violent content, graphic sexual content, and harmful misleading content".
Catholics With Attitude of course consider pro-life beliefs as a central tenet of our Catholic faith.
We would welcome the thoughts of our customers on this situation and any suggestions they would have as to how we might respond. At this point, we're very much minded to take the financial hit and close the UK/EU/Irish operation in order not to compromise our faith and beliefs.
(For reference, we have posted examples of the artwork referred to at the end of this post, and here's a link to the community standards for you to read as reference. They say our images breach "at least" one of them).
